A 19th Century G Rowney & Co, colourman artists watercolour set comprising of twelve paint slots, brush compartment and ceramic pallet with lock (key missing).
This set is from either Rowney's in 190 Piccadilly or 64 Oxford Street London. This area, known at the time as Fitzrovia, had become famous to both amateur and professional artists.
In good antique condition with lots of signs of age and patina. Missing paints which are easily replaced.
